Artistic statement

My artistic work lies at the intersection of landscape photography, architecture, and digital art. I work from real-world scenes—coastlines, mountains, historic streets, and everyday spaces—that allow me to explore how light, colour, and texture can reveal the quiet personality of a place. I am interested in capturing not only what is seen, but also what is felt: the atmosphere, the memory, and the emotion that linger in each space.

My process begins with a patient and conscious observation of my surroundings. Photography serves as a documentary foundation, but I then manipulate the image with digital tools to reinforce the visual presence of what I consider essential. I don't seek to alter reality but rather to translate it into a more poetic, immersive, and lasting interpretation. This combination of photographic precision and artistic sensibility allows me to create images that balance fidelity and evocation.

Visually, I am particularly drawn to places where nature and human presence coexist in dialogue: cliffs, paths, facades, alleyways, bridges, and structures that bear the marks of time. In these settings, I find a serene, restrained, and profoundly emotional beauty. My work aims to invite the viewer to look more closely, to rediscover the everyday, and to reconnect with the experience of the place.

I conceive of these pieces as contemporary works intended for both personal contemplation and interior decoration. I am interested in creating images that bring calm, depth, and a refined visual presence, capable of transforming a space without imposing itself upon it. Essentially, my work seeks to bridge the gap between photographic observation and artistic interpretation, between the tangible nature of the landscape and the intangible qualities of its atmosphere.
